Overall Responsibility:
Oversee and execute the check in and receiving process for engines (both customer and core) at Aerotec Engines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Unload engines from the couriers when they arrive, and perform an initial inspection to ensure no damage occurred during shipping
- Perform the “Engine Check-in” process, which may include:
o Creating an engine file
o Confirming the accuracy of information provided to sales
o Informing customer of engine arrival, and/or following up with missing components/logbooks
o Properly storing the engine and/or crate until it is received in the building
o Performing a review of the logbook
- Perform the “Engine Receiving” process, which may include:
o Bringing the engine into the building and removing its accessories
o Photographing the engine and its accessories
o Tagging the accessories and properly dispersing them
o Completing the required receiving documents
- Managing the inventory/storage of both engines and crates within the yard, keeping inventory sheets up to date
- Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the receiving area
- Conduct daily/weekly equipment inspections as required
Skills Required:
- Forklift training to be provided if not already certified
- Desire to perform a mixture of hands-on and computer work
- High level of organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
Reporting/Supervisory Requirements:
- Reports to Stores Manager, Operations Manager
- Responsible for supervising students should they be assigned to the receiving department
Working Conditions:
- Provided with Standard Operating Procedures
- Training to be done with an SIA holder, work to be reviewed until receiving SIA is acquired
- Required to perform work at Aerotec’s sole location, within its usual hours of operation (8-5, Mon-Fri)
- Two 15 min (paid) breaks & an hour (unpaid) lunch allowed each day

Salary: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42.5 per week
