JOB SUMMARY:
As a member of Generation Civil Engineering Services team with Engineering and Construction, this position is responsible for providing technical expertise, contract and project management for capital projects related to existing and new power plants infrastructures. This position is responsible for assisting with and preparing structural and civil designs, specifications, drawings, technical studies, business cases, contract documents and tender evaluations, project plans, costs, and schedules and provide contract management and project coordination services, ensuring alignment with departmental and corporate strategic goals and objectives.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineering Designation P.Eng. and relevant experience in a combination of the following engineering tasks: planning facilities, performing analysis, design, contract management and project management.
Good design and contract management experience with demonstrated competency in structural design codes and engineering/industry standards
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate
