Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Engineering Intern for employment for the Regina, SK office .
This is a temporary full-time role starting in May 2024 for 4 months.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Assist in the structural analysis and preparation of design calculations
Assist in developing structural details and construction plans
Help prepare geometric/bridge layouts, construction specifications, and material quantity calculations
Learn how to use Finite Element Software, Bridge Design Software, Mathcad, Microsoft Office, Computer Aided Drafting
Will work on shop drawing reviews
Assisting in maintaining project documentation
Working in the field performing hands-on bridge inspections
Project Management and Project Management data input Design of utility protection and relocation
Work on proposal developments
Work on external stakeholder communication and correspondence
Evaluate technical alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other disciplines
Work in a team environment, collaborating with Project Managers and technical staff
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must be currently completing their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Must have completed their second year of study
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License
Familiarity with municipal and road authority standards
Knowledge of Tendering and Procurement processes
Knowledge of Asset Management
Strong Technical writing skills

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $18.54 - $25.03
