Job Description:

Are you passionate about technology and eager to share your knowledge with others? Canadian All Care College is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Entry-Level Computer Instructor to join our team. As a Computer Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide individuals who are embarking on their journey to become proficient in computer science and technology.

Position Summary: The Instructor must have expert knowledge of the following courses and must be able to teach mature students in a diverse environment:

• Windows OS
• MS Word
• MS Excel
• MS Outlook
• MS PowerPoint

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging and informative Microsoft office classes for beginners.
• Develop and deliver curriculum content that is tailored to the needs of entry-level students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and fosters a love for technology.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer additional support when necessary.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and educational staff to continuously improve teaching methods and materials.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the curriculum remains relevant.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for students, offering guidance on career pathways in technology.

Requirements:

• MS Suite Expert certification is required with a minimum of two years of full-time industry experience. A Diploma or Degree in Computer Studies is preferred.
• Experience with adult teaching experience an asset.
• Excellent lesson planning, communication, presentation, and organizational skills are preferred.

CACC is temporarily delivering courses on-line and is expected to return to normal in-class instructions par Ministry direction.

Hours: Monday to Thursday. 9:30am-3:00pm.

Work Remotely

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 8 weeks
Part-time hours: 22 per week

Salary: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
