As an Entry-Level Truck and Transport Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of heavy-duty trucks and transport vehicles. This role is perfect for someone mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and passionate about the automotive and transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and buses.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Assist experienced technicians with more complex repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Learn and adapt to the latest technologies and tools in the industry.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to improve your skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical schooling or training in automotive or diesel repair is a plus.
- Strong desire to learn and develop your skills in truck and transport maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of automotive tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 80 pounds) and sand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driver’s abstract.
