Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain farm equipment
• Perform preventative, planned, and emergency maintenance on equipment and buildings
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labour
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Safely operate power tools and other equipment necessary for the job
• Utilize hand tools for various tasks
• Ocassionally work outside of normal business hours during planting and harvesting
• Occasional work outside of normal hours during planting and harvesting
• Occasionally work weekends.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with heavy/farm equipment operation
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labour in various weather conditions
• Class 1 & 3 Licence considered an asset
• First Aid training considered an asset
• Mechanical Knowledge an for troubleshooting and minor repairs desired
• Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of farm equipment
• Chemical license considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.57-$25.00 per hour
