Escape Room Maintenance + Game Master

Pandoras Locks is looking to add to our team! We are looking for a Maintenance Person/ Game Master! We are looking for someone who is willing to be a Game Master who also has the knowledge to maintain the rooms and fix things when problems occur.

What is a Game Master?

All of our employees are known as "Game Masters". Game Masters are the ones front and centre making sure our players have an exceptional escape game experience. Some responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Greeting guests and providing exceptional customer service
• Setting up computers, resetting rooms, taking payments, answering phone calls + emails and getting ready for the day
• Briefing guests on the rules and story before their game starts and greeting them at the end
• Resetting the rooms in between groups
• Monitoring the gameplay to ensure everyone is having a fun, safe and positive experience. Sending hints when needed
• Making sure each group progresses properly through each of the games you are running
• Exceptional organizational and communication with guests
• Taking team photos after the game is finished
• Simple cleaning procedures
• Social Media and Sales and marketing oriented is an asset
• knowledge with programming and coding an asset. All of our rooms rely heavily on technology
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

We are looking for a Game Master who is also able to help with the maintenance of the Escape Rooms. What are we looking for in a maintenance person?

• Someone who is Tech Savvy
• Someone who is able to use basic tools to create and maintain props
• Someone who is knowledgeable with 12v electronics
• Basic carpentry is an asset

This maintenance / Game Master position is a casual to part time position. 15 hours or less per week.
