We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Body Shop Estimator to join our team in Calgary.

Our total compensation package offers job security, health, dental, EFAP, vision and life insurance. The salary range for this position is $65,000 – 80,000.

The Role:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction and quality of repairs in a busy and fast paced heavy duty truck Body Shop.

Estimating – 100% of your time is spent here

• Review damage reports, repair orders and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed.
• Create repair estimates for potential clients according to NWTC policies and insurance companies best practices/guidelines
• Greet customers and explain the repair process and timeline of their repairs.
• Follow-up with customers to determine satisfaction levels.
• Present prepared estimates to customers
• Ensure estimate follow-up to maximize closing ratio.
• Collaborate with client experience personnel to ensure exceptional follow-up and service.
• Monitor vehicle production in collaboration with service and parts efficiency managers to ensure timely delivery.
• Work closely with multiple insurance and independent appraisers.

Education/Certification

• Post secondary Education in Autobody repairs.
• Red Seal Auto Body Technician, is preferred.

Experience

• Proven collision repair experience in estimating and sales
• Some knowledge of estimating systems
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Experience:

• collision estimating of autobody repair: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Journeyman Autobody Red Seal license (preferred)
