Estimator / Contractor Sales

```Job Summary```
We are seeking an experienced Estimator or Sales member to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and providing competitive bids for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of construction estimating software, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and contractors.

```Responsibilities```
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
- Prepare accurate cost estimates by gathering and analyzing data from various sources
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive bid proposals
- Utilize construction estimating software, such as Seljax or Luxwood, to create detailed estimates
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive bids
- Present estimates and proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation

```Qualifications```
- Proven experience in construction estimating or related field
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating software, such as Luxwood or Seljax
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from subcontractors

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
