Event Staff & Drivers

We are hiring team members for a variety of roles.

This posting is specifically hiring for:

Drivers: Class 5 Drivers Licence for Nova Scotia, Having a vehicle is an asset but not required
Event Staff: Event set up and tear down (heavy lifting, teamwork and communication). Supervising inflatables & enforcing safety rules. Making and Serving Concessions, Hosting Games (laser tag, dunk tank, etc.) Making fun foods Including Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Snow Cones, etc.

What is this job? What do you do?

Imagine...

A large open field of grass bustling with people and brightly coloured tents, inflatables, characters. The space is filled with many different attractions and activities. Children are stuffing themselves with cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones. A few fun-filled adults are making bets on who will win in a battle of inflatable axe throwing, human hamster ball races or some more familiar carnival games. Elsa and Spiderman have arrived to give hugs and high fives to those waiting in line for balloon twisters and face painters. On the other side of the field, an inflatable attendant helps a minion mascot join the children jumping on a bouncy castle. The attendees party as hard as possible until the event wraps up. As the sun sets the team changes pace and begins cleaning, gathering, and deflating until finally the party is packed away... until the next event tomorrow.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Salary: From $16.10 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• Holidays
• On call
• Weekends as needed
