The Special Events Server role is designed to ensure the Corporate Objectives of maximizing profitability and Owner, Guest & Staff happiness for their resort by following the 3V Philosophy of Visibility, Velocity and Value. The Special Events Server is a strong sales driver, profit focused and people oriented. This role is responsible for providing exceptional guests services through your talent as a server while at the resort by ensuring those guests are served in a timely and polite manner.
Skills
An Event Server should possess strong time management and communication skills. The Event Server must have people skills with the ability to multi task and still focus on customers.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Financial management: The server responsibility will include but not limited to the following
Revenue:
Serving
a. Polish silverware and glasses
b. Setup Event hall tables
c. Setup buffet tables
d. Greet guests
e. Serve food
f. Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
g. Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables
h. Cleanup; lines etc.
