Excavator Operators

Det'on Cho Landtran is Canada’s leading Northern Transportation Company, we know how to work in the most extreme conditions. We offer regularly scheduled, year-round transportation services between points in North America and the Northwest Territories. Currently we are seeking Excavator Operators for Seasonal Work in Yellowknife NWT. We provide the Accommodations and Travel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely and securely operate a Excavator
• Operate excavators to dig trenches
• Understand and follow safety protocols for excavator operation
• Maintain excavator by performing daily inspections and preventive maintenance
• Communicate with other workers to coordinate activities

Experience:

• Experience working with Excavators
• Completion of a Apprenticeship Program, some High School or Industry Courses in Heavy Equipment Operating
• Must be dependable
• Effective attention to detail

Requirements:

• Class 5 License
• Standard First Aid

Compensation:

• $35 - $40 depending on experience
• 4% Holiday Pay
• Accommodations and Travel
