Job Description: Reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Services, the Executive Assistant provides confidential administrative support to the Vice President and Physician Executive of Clinical Services. The Executive Assistant will ensure that the necessary processes are in place to support the efficient operation of the Clinical Services portfolio.
The Executive Assistant will work in a complex and dynamic healthcare environment and is responsible to research, analyze and develop policies, briefings and proposals as required to support the Saskatchewan Health Authority's objectives. The successful candidate has a high degree of initiative and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Once established, the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be the largest public sector organization in Saskatchewan with an operating budget of over $3.8 billion, employing approximately 43,000 employees and responsible to deliver health care to the province.
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in administration, commerce or business and additional training in the use of spreadsheets, databases and word processing software
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Experience
Minimum three years of experience working in a research/policy analyst or senior administrative assistant role
Supervisory and/or management experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to adapt to frequent change and work under pressure
Ability to learn and develop a working knowledge of the organization, including its governance and organizational structure and relationships
Ability to work collegially, collaboratively and build positive relationships through respectful and influential interactions
