Responsibilities:
- Decorate cakes according to customer requests and specifications
- Use various techniques and tools to create visually appealing cake designs
- Ensure cakes are prepared and decorated in a timely manner to meet customer deadlines
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling and decorating cakes
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen
- Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cake decorating or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in cake design
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers and fulfill their requests
- Basic cooking and baking skills are a plus
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
