Expert Data Analyst / Architect

On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Expert Data Analyst / Architect (Meditech Magic Roadmap) for a one year engagement based in Surrey, British Columbia. This client is pleased to offer a remote work model for this role.
Job Details:

  • The Expert Data Analyst (Architect) will possess exceptional architecture and data modelling background, to conceptualize, design and implement a Central Corporate Data Repository built on industry best practices and using current technology.
  • Initial consultation with Magic Roadmap Program Manager, as well as with Senior Leadership from Digital Patient and Provider Experience, Employee Experience and Corporate Finance to align on overall vision and to determine stakeholders to be engaged.
  • Work with project resources to translate business requirements into data requirements, create data models and assist in defining/verifying/controlling scope and schedule for:
  • Central Corporate Data Repository:
  • Solution aligned industry best practice, and organizational goals and objectives for data storage, retrieval and integrations
  • Integration strategy to ensure consistency and integrity
  • Develop data archiving solution
  • Implement security measures to protect data from unauthorized access or breaches
  • Data migration strategy and implementation plan
  • End-to-End Test Environment
  • Re-development of legacy applications to point to the new Central Corporate Data Repository source.
  • Document data architecture, data flows, dictionaries, integrations, and other relevant information.
  • Help to define activities, sequence activities, estimation of resources and activity duration.
  • Manage stakeholders’ expectations.

Mandatory Skills:
  • Proven data experience, including but not limited to: requirements definition and documentation, model creation/validation/gap analysis and delivery
  • Knowledge of various database technologies
  • Experience in integrating data from multiple sources and ensuring data consistency and quality
  • Possess exceptional English language oral and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholder (business, technical) groups

Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience working in large health care organizations

Assignment Length:
Twelve (12) month contract with the potential for two (2) extensions of two (2) months each.
Target Start Date:
February 19th, 2024
Assignment Location:
Main office located in Surrey, British Columbia. Consultants will need to adhere to PST/PDT working hours for the duration of this contract. Majority of work can be done remotely, however on occasion, the Data Analyst may be expected to travel to and work onsite at the Central City tower in Surrey, BC, for certain events, such as Project Kick Off, key Executive Steering Committee meetings etc.
