Shimmer and Shine is an Exterior Home cleaning company focused on offering professional cleaning services for homeowners. We have revolutionized window cleaning as well as help homeowners with the cleaning of their home’s siding, soffits, and eavestrough cleaning.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at Shimmer and Shine. As a Cleaner, your role will be to follow job tasks in the client's home to fulfill projects. Cleaning tasks include cleaning windows, soffits, eavestrough, and siding. This position requires the candidate to use ladders and in some instances pressure washers. If you take pride in ensuring spaces are spotless and enjoy contributing to a clean, organized atmosphere, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Follow job tasks to complete jobs.

- Job tasks include cleaning windows, soffits, eavestroughs, and siding.

- Engage with residents in a friendly and professional manner to communicate the value of our offerings.

- Communicate with clients regarding timelines and cleaning procedures.

-Fill hours in performance sheet to keep track of project timelines.

- Achieve completion of projects within the set timelines.

- Transport required tools to complete jobs.

- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues.

- Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals appropriately.

Work efficiently to complete assigned cleaning tasks within designated timeframes.

Requirements:

Must have:

- Comfortable working at heights (utilizing 32 ft ladders).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Positive attitude and resilience in the face of rejection.

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to different locations.

Considered an asset but not required:

- Previous cleaning experience.

- Knowledge regarding use of ladders.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: $16.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
