Hours of Work : 37.5 hrs./week; 7.5 hrs./day;
Monday-Friday; Full Time, Probationary
Hours will be: Hours for
this position will be decided upon by the Assistant Manager of Facilities
Services.
Hourly Rate: $20.26
per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
Specific
Needs/Requirements for this position:
§ This work involves
routine cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to maintain school buildings and
property.
§ Entry level
knowledge of cleaning equipment operation as well as the chemicals and cleaning
products used.
§ Ability to lift
and handle cleaning equipment and furniture.
§ Basic knowledge of
repair procedures.
§ Ability to work
well in a team environment.
§ Up to 6 months
experience in building cleaning.
§ WHMIS training
would be an asset.
