Facilities Attendant Grounds

Auxiliary On-call as required

Duties: Reporting to the Manager, Cranbrook Facilities, this position is responsible for ground maintenance at the Main Campus and at our Gold Creek Campus. The position would provide general maintenance of the grounds and have a general understanding of college operations as well as acting as a labourer for renovations, capital projects and assisting in the testing and monitoring of the fire alarm, security alarm, HVAC systems and water filtering/testing.

Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent, coupled with 2-3 years related building maintenance experience, Class 5 Driver's License, First Aid Level 1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in building maintenance OR minimum of 2 years Groundskeeping and Landscaping experience OR an equivalent combination plus a demonstrated work experience in a variety of relating building trades performing minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting and grounds maintenance.

Salary: CUPE Pay Level 4 with a starting wage of $24.97 per hour (this includes 8% in lieu of benefits and vacation)
