The City of Melfort is a vibrant city in Saskatchewan, offering its residents and visitors a high quality of life. As the Facility and Parks Manger, you will play a key role in supporting all functional areas relating to facility management and Parks management.
As the Facility and Parks Manager, you will report to the Director of Community Services and be responsible for the administration, planning, maintenance and operation of all City-owned and operated facilities, parks and open spaces of the City of Melfort.  In addition, you will implement and maintain policies, protocols and processes that align with the organizations mission, values and strategic priorities. You will be a member of the citys management team and contribute to the organization's strategic planning and decision-making.
To qualify for this position, you will need a minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role. You will need a degree, diploma, or certificate in one or more of the following: Recreation, Facilities Management, Horticulture/Landscaping or a related field. Additionally, you must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and a satisfactory criminal record check.
  
Other desired qualifications include one or more of the following certificates: Refrigeration Plant Operator Certification, Firemans Boiler, Arena Operator, or Parks and Recreation Leadership.
