Description

This is a full-time temporary term position for a minimum 3-month term, reporting to the Finance Department Supervisor, the Facility Booking Clerk reporting to the Finance Department Supervisor, contributes to city operations by providing services in scheduling and booking/event coordination, confidential office administration, reception, and financial support services.  
Qualifications:
    Knowledge and experience working with financial management and accounting information systems.
    Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills.
    Knowledge of and experience with the following enterprise software programs Laserfiche, Cascade, Perfect Mind, Process Pro, iCity Vadim and, Esri.
    Ability to operate a telephone call management system.  
    Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other department representatives, and deal courteously with vendors and the public.
    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple and changing tasks and priorities, with interruptions.
    Ability to understand and complete complex oral and written instructions.
    Effective verbal and written communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
    A certificate or diploma related to accounting or business.
    Two years of administrative experience.
    Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
