The Property Management team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Facility Service Worker in La Ronge.
As a member of our service-oriented team, you will complete regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and as required building maintenance. This position:
- Performs maintenance, cleaning and grounds-keeping on buildings and grounds.
- Operates and maintains ground power equipment.
- Assists co-workers with various maintenance repairs.
- Ensures, visual life safety equipment is in good operating readiness.
- Performs assigned client requests.
- Report to facility operator/co-workers any maintenance issues and client concerns.
- Has the ability to maintain maintenance records in maintenance management software.
The successful candidate will be required to operate heavy-duty power cleaning equipment, and grounds equipment (manual and powered), and must be able to climb ladders and lift heavy objects.
To be considered successful for this position, candidates require:
- Working-level knowledge of building maintenance and operations.
- Being in good physical condition to perform manual activities (ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders).
- The possession of a valid driver's license.
- A valid Fireman Boiler Operator Certificate, or the ability to obtain the certificate within the probationary period (12) twelve months.
