Job description

Job Description: Provide Intervention services for children, youth, and families to develop skills, strategies, and tools, as well as natural, community, and cultural connections through a strength-based, trauma informed approach.

Responsibilities include:

· Deliver solution-focused, intensive support that focuses on skill development.

· Implement Individual Program Planning with SMART goals and strategies.

· Educate and support the development of life, parenting, and other skills.

· Observe, redirect, and support interactions.

· Assess participant skills, strengths, and needs.

· Connect participants to appropriate community resources.

· Transport children and families.

Requirements:

· Degree or Diploma in a human service field or a minimum of two years related experience in a human service field.

· Skilled in transferring skills, planning tasks, and goal setting.

· Proven ability to engage people and facilitate positive interactions.

· Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and communication skills

· Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and support participants to alleviate crisis.

· Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9-5pm

Wage: $23.00 - $27.00 hourly, 35 hours per week
