Farmers Market Manager / Communications Coordinator

Farmers Market Manager:

On-site management of Saturday market (year-round for 50 weeks) in downtown Salmon Arm. Responsibilities include market set-up, placement of vendors, fee collection, takedown and vendor relationship management. During the balance of the week (remote) social media and web content, general vendor interaction and relationship management. (Estimated time allocation - 12 hours per week)

SFAS Communications Coordinator:

In addition to social media and web content for Farmers Market, some ongoing content creation for remaining Shuswap Food Action Projects (non-profit/charitable services). In addition, some shared responsibilities for event management. (Estimated time allocation - 8 hours per week)

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $15,000.00-$24,000.00 per year
