FIELD CREW WORKER

Evergreen is growing fast and looking to expand our workforce of skilled and dedicated labour workers for commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate is responsible, reliable, and flexible. They take direction and criticism well, pay attention to detail, and follow the direction of their immediate supervisor. They are also capable of working independently, and finding ways to be productive when no direction is provided or priority tasks have been completed. They are a strong team player, who is always contributing value to improve the overall performance of the company and the quality of the services we provide.

Experience with hydroseeding, landscaping, site reclamation, snow removal, or erosion and sediment control is an asset, but not necessary. Experience operating heavy equipment is also an asset. A valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not required. If you've worked on construction sites, in forestry, the oil industry, or ship yards, we'd love to hear from you.

​​Duties and responsibilities​

• Performing general labour tasks
• Taking direction from a supervisor
• Operating power tools, gas power & electric
• Operating heavy equipment
• Sorting, counting, organizing supplies and materials
• Transporting supplies and materials on and between sites
• Completing company training certifications
• Following and participating in safety procedures/practices/training/meetings
• Driving company vehicles
• Wearing personal protective equipment as directed
• Site clean-up and maintenance
• Filling out forms

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
