Job description

Bio-Agtive Emissions Farming, founded in 2005 in Southern Alberta, empowers producers to eliminate synthetic fertilizers, reduce agrichemicals, bio-sequester carbon at unprecedented rates during crop and livestock production, and out-yield conventional systems. Adoption of the Bio-Agtive method on the farm also enables farmers to culture their own biofertilizers for use in the crop canopy.

Conceptualized and now produced in our recently-expanded Pincher Creek manufacturing facility, the advanced, 6th generation Bio-Agtive system processes emissions from any type of farm equipment that is powered by an internal combustion engine. The company services farmers around the globe, notably in Canada, USA, Australia, and Africa.

Heading into the 2024 growing season, the company is experiencing tremendous growth in Canada. We need to hire and train Field Service Technicians to assist with Installations, Maintenance, and Services that we uphold in the field, working alongside these innovative farmers who adopt the emissions technology.

The scope of work of a Bio-Agtive Field Service Labourer is most often described as, but not limited to, the installation and fabrication of Bio-Agtive systems on the agricultural equipment of the farming cohort. Further to this, the field crew also cleans and maintains the Bio-Agtive systems for each customer operation. Field Service members also work directly with Bio-Agtive clients, employees, and management on any issues that arise with equipment during the growing season.
