Field Technician / Data Collector

Job Details:

• Travel to various municipalities in Ontario (vehicle provided) providing data collection services to municipal government (Burlington, Niagara Region, Milton, Brampton, Vaughan area most of the time)
• Use of GPS equipment, measuring devices, and tablets to collect data. Create inventories and test municipal signage, and other municipal assets.
• Monday to Friday - 10 HOUR DAY MINIMUM REQUIRED NO EXCEPTION
• Substantial driving with frequent stopping.

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to communicate and work with team
• Reliable and dependable with the strong team player skills
• Knowledge about general vehicle maintenance
• Experience in busy environments
• Excellent and safe driving skills

Additional Information:

• Full training provided
• Six-month seasonal work this year with potential to return following seasons (Eight-month seasons) dependent upon performance and punctuality
• Hours are Monday to Friday – 10 hours per day with potential for longer hours and weekends (start and end times may vary but typically 6:30am-4:30pm)
• Minimum $23.00 to start depending on experience with bonus incentive program (periodic bonuses based on performance and other factors)
• Travelling required, hotels, meal allowance provided when staying away from home, and vehicles provided (Burlington, Brampton, Vaughan, Durham Region area, there will be very limited hotel stays)
• G Driver’s license required and satisfactory clean driver’s abstract to be provided before hire
• Criminal record check required
