Job Description

  • Develop and execute financial strategies in line with the company's objectives
  • Provide strategic financial counsel to the executive team to aid decision-making.
  • Apply comprehensive understanding of the construction sector to inform financial decisions and ensure adherence to industry-specific regulations
  • Supervise Work in Progress (WIP) accounting and reporting.
  • Supervise all financial accounting activities, ensuring precise and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and control cash flow to guarantee sufficient funds for ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Implement effective cash flow forecasting and reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax laws, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with external tax advisors to optimize the company's tax strategy
  • Establish and uphold robust financial controls to protect company assets and ensure financial precision.
  • Implement best practices for managing financial risk.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA designation is preferred
  • Proven experience as a Finance professional in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of Work in Progress (WIP), cash flow management, and accounting
    principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall business
    strategy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional
    teams.
