  • Identify gaps/opportunities in processes.
  • Automate Finance processes where the need is identified.
  • Create automated process manuals.
  • Train staff to use automated spreadsheets.
     
 
Qualifications 
  • Enrolled in a diploma or degree in Commerce/Arts, Statistics, Finance, Accounting or a related field. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required. 
  • Knowledge of Excel Macros and Power BI would be an asset. 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to details. 
  • Excellent process manual and report writing skills. 
  • A team player and a problem solver. 
  • Able to work efficiently and independently with minimum supervision. 
  • Strong ethics and integrity. 
     
Pre-Employment Requirements 
  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2024. 
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Position Type: 1 Temporary Student (May - August) 
Location: 2535, 3rd Avenue S.E. 
Compensation: $27.16 per hour 
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day 
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle. 
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week 
Audience: Internal/External
