The Finance Supervisor reports to the Company CFO and is an experienced finance professional well-versed in various accounting functions, including bookkeeping, AP, AR and payroll functions, as well as intercompany and cross-border transactions, and financial statement reviews/presentations.
Essential qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma specializing in accounting.
- Bookkeeping experience.
- Manufacturing experience
- In-depth understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting software and ERP systems.
- Possess effective communication and innovative problem-solving skills and work well with a remote leadership team/CFO.
Roles/responsibilities/duties:
- Oversee all accounting functions and procedures under the direction of the CFO.
- Make sure policies and procedures relating to Admin/Payroll/HR/Accounting functions are being followed.
- Execute on all accounting distributions and ensure they are accurately documented in accordance with public company reporting policies and procedures.
- Execute on daily operations of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts, cash disbursements, payroll, and bank reconciliation functions.
- Be responsible for reviewing and approving all invoices.
- Oversee bank accounts and manage cash flow in partnership with CFO.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive financial information to the executive team to inform long-term financial strategizing.
- Coordinate with CFO for income tax preparation and auditors who prepare internal audits, including keeping company records organized and readily available.
- Monitoring business performance metrics
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by thoroughly investigating and resolving any discrepancies or variances in financial documentation and transactions.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and forecasts, providing strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance.
