Position Description
The main responsibilities of Sage 300Systems Specialist include but not limited to systems installation and configuration, data conversion/migration, administration of Sage 300 ERP solutions, and user training and support.
Position Responsibilities
- Set up/configure Sage 300 for new companies, troubleshoot technical issues, ensure data integrity
- Assist Sage 300 users in investigating and resolving issues e.g., bank rec variances, sub-ledger discrepancies, adjusting/correcting entered transactions, etc.
- Create/maintain import templates to transfer data from various systems (QuickBooks, Sage 50, etc.) to Sage 300
- Transfer/import data (Trial Balance, AP subledger, AR subledger, and bank rec) to Sage 300
- Maintain users’ profiles and authorizations, provide training and support to Sage 300 users
Skills and experience:
- At least 3 years general accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills, Pivot Table, Macro
- At least 3 years Sage 300 experience. Standard modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Services. Advances modules: Order Entry and Inventory Control. Third party modules: Orchid EFT, Orchid Extender and Norming Inter Entity
- Working knowledge of various accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage 50, etc.) is an asset
- Crystal reports writing skill is an asset
