Due to continued growth we are currently seeking a Bulldozer Operator. This position is for a highly experienced Bulldozer Operator with 10,000 hours bulldozer experience.

Responsibilities Include:

• Knowledge of Landfill Site Environment
• Understanding of handling different soil types in wet & dry weather
• Knowledge of Dozer D-6 GPS
• Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment, perform minor repairs to equipment.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections on equipment and clean, lubricate, and refill equipment
• Ensure proper and safe storage of equipment.
• Is expected to operate all equipment in a safe and highly efficient manner.
• Ensure equipment is well maintained and conduct a pre-operational check on equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and policies.
• Attention to detail and desire to provide high-quality workmanship, get it right the first time
• Coordinating with the Foreman
• Shoveling tracks as required.
• Operators should also be well adapted to all types of adverse conditions such as extreme weather, project schedules, congested work spaces, etc.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience of 10 000 Hours as a Dozer Operator
• Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team
• Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule including different shifts and overtime when needed.
• Possible longer days, so overtime may be required on weekends too.

Hours of work & Overtime

• Work preformed in excess of 8 hours per day shall be paid at the rate of one and a half times the regular rate of pay.
• Work preformed in excess of 11 hours per day shall be paid at the rate of 2 times the regular rate of pay.
• Employees who are required to work Saturday shall be paid one and a half times the regular rate of pay. Work preformed on Saturdays in excess of 11 hours shall be paid double the regular rate of pay.

Salary: $36.61-$40.93 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 72 per week
