Summary:The Finishing Adjuster is responsible for the set up and efficient operation of the gluer. He/she ensures conformance to all Health and Safety Policies, Rules and Regulations and general housekeeping standards. Meets or exceeds production, efficiency and quality requirements at all times.
Responsibilities:Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Verify customer specifications for each product using computer system- Set up equipment for product according to customer specifications
- Assist and train operators in set up and operation of equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance on Finishing equipment
- Drive root cause analysis to machine problems, recommend solutions and be active in problem solving events such as Kaizen
- Responsible for knowing Finishing lockout procedures
- Complete quality checks to ensure only conforming product is being produced
- Record all production data in Production Manager (PM) (output, downtime etc.)
- Trained and certified at operating the gluers at standard (Straight-line Cartons)
- Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as required
Applicants must successfully complete a mechanical aptitude test.
