Fire Captain

We are currently sourcing for a Fire Captain for our International SOS client site (JFJV) in British Columbia. There is a clinic at JFJV and fire hall.

Minimum Requirements for the position are as follows:

• Previous firefighting leadership/supervisory experience (minimum 2 years)
• H2S Alive
• OFA3
• CSO or CSTS
• WHMIS
• NFPA 1001 Level I
• NFPA 1001 Level II
• NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue or confine space rescue
• NFPA 472
• Valid Drivers' License

This position is a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation wherein the successful candidate would live on site at camp (private bedroom/bathroom) for the duration of their work rotations.

Travel: $300 roundtrip reimbursement (can be used toward flights or parking), then FREE charter from Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Kelowna, Nanaimo (reduced schedule) & Prince George (reduced schedule), airport is 40 mins from site (Airport transports is provided).
The charters fly into Terrace, BC, but there are buses that load directly from the charter (including all luggage), and they go straight to camp on site.

Additional Criterion:

• Candidates are required to successfully pass a drug and alcohol test including a test for THC.
