Flexible Delivery Driver

We have immediate openings for full-time & part-time, permanent drivers.

This position requires you to have your own vehicle to use for work. Vans, Cars, pickups & SUVs accepted.

Deliveries are in and near Saint John.

Typical km/day is 150-250. 3 am - 8 am start time (You choose), 6-10 hour days. You have till Midnight to finish the deliveries and returns can be overnighted and retuned the next day. You are allowed to start deliveries, then stop for hours, then resume delivery as long as you are done your route by Midnight. Cold drops, no signatures just drop and take a pic.

Shifts are available every day of the week for both part-time and full-time.

• A typical day with a full load, ~$200-$300/day. Smaller routes close to Station (6-7.5 hours) pay less than larger routes (8.5-10 hours) but smaller routes get done quicker. Load times will be 3 am - 8 am
• Extra work including double routes available for even more daily earnings.
• That works out to $25-$35 per hour typically.
• Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
• Full-time and part-time positions are available. (Days/week flexible, not 1/2 days)
• The rates for are;

$1.60 per parcel+$0.80 per multiple parcel ($1.60 for the first, $0.80 for any additional to the same address on the same day)+$0.22 per KM. Newspaper rate varies depending on the area you deliver.

Requirements:

• Safety Vest/Jacket at warehouse.
• Winter / All-Weather Tires (Not All-Season)
• Must provide a vehicle for the work. Anything with a 4.0L or smaller engine.
• Can safely get in and out of your vehicle multiple times a day.
• Have a smartphone with a data plan.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred:

• 1+ year of courier experience in the Fredericton OR Saint John area.
• Customer service background.
• A can-do attitude.
• Time management skills.

Vans and SUVs with large cargo space are ideal, but cars and pickups can work, just be aware some reloading will be involved with smaller cargo capacity vehicles. Large cargo vans or cube trucks will have too big of an engine we advise a 4.0L engine or smaller for best fuel to profit ratio.
