Floor Installer & Re Finisher

```Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer & Re Finisher to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials according to specifications and industry standards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As a Re Finisher, you will be responsible for sanding various types of wood flooring, identifying any serious damages, repairs, as well as staining and finishing the floor.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, repairing any damage, and ensuring a smooth surface
- Install flooring materials such as carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, or tile
- Use hand tools and power tools to secure flooring materials in place
- Follow blueprints or design plans to ensure accurate installation
- Inspect completed work for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Clean up work area and remove any debris or waste materials

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of various flooring materials and installation techniques
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design plans
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

- The use of floor sanding equipment such as: Drum sander, edger, buffer, palm sander

Skills:
- Maintenance Person skills for general repairs and maintenance tasks
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Carpentry skills for preparing subfloors and making necessary adjustments
- Ability to work with different types of flooring materials including tile laying, carpet installation, hardwood flooring, etc.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading for accurate installation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.50-$33.11 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 45 per week
