Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for Warehouse Floor Person (Temporary)
Rotation schedule will 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-site
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Promote mine safety so that everyone is going home safe and healthy every day
- Manage warehouse issues and returns
- Perform inventory cycle counting
- Support fuel barge offload procedures
- Perform air freight receiving operations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Able to climb ladders and work outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions
- Previous experience in an industrial warehousing environment including the operation of common warehousing materials including computers is preferred
