Floral Assistant

Duties:
- Assist Floral Designers with everyday tasks such as cleaning flowers, washing buckets, preparing vessels, etc.
- Help our customers to choose the perfect flowers, plants, and giftware
- Help maintain an organized and clean workspace
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones and taking orders
- Assist with plant care and storefront merchandising
- Provide support to other team members as needed

Requirements:
- Monday and Saturday 9:30am - 5:30pm availability, no exceptions
- Availability during major florist holidays (Mother's Day, Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc)
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to effectively use a POS system for sales transactions
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- No previous floral design required
- Plant care knowledge is a plus
