Looking for a hardworking and motivated individual with a passion for flowers, weddings, plants, and customer service. Both flower design experience and retail/customer service experience are required for this position. Creating bouquets and arrangements for daily walk in/orders, wrapping up, and cashing out customers, wedding design work. Looking for the next addition to join this fun team!
Details:
- Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and some Tuesday's (during busy wedding months there's potential for more hours)
- 3-6+ hours, depending on the day/events
- Must be able to work some Saturdays during the summer (I would be able to give you a list of important wedding dates where coverage at the shop is needed)
- Must be able to work holidays (Mothers Day, Valentines, Christmas)
Duties:
- Cashing out customers
-Assisting and interacting with customers
- Packing product orders and wrapping bouquets
- Answering phone calls and taking flower orders
- Making arrangements and bouquets for orders, holidays and events
- Processing flowers
-Assisting with wedding work
Plant knowledge considered an asset, own vehicle considered an asset. Social media knowledge/comfortability with content creation considered an asset.
Pay rate will be based on level of design experience, with chance to increase. $17-$20/hr
