The Club at Westlinks is a front porch golf community located near the shores of Lake Huron. The community boasts a 12 hole golf course, a tennis/pickleball court, a gym, a kitchen, a clubhouse and a pavilion, all amongst its growing housing development. The club is open year-round to the public and its guests and hosts a variety of golf events, functions, weddings and gatherings.
Westlinks is seeking individuals to join its Food and Beverage Team this upcoming season. Positions are available in back of house as well as front of house. An individual with interest and experience in both aspects will be strongly considered. We are seeking people with integrity, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. This is a seasonal position with part time and full time hours available. The position is flexible with hours and for the right individual, there is potential for more responsibility and more consistent hours. 20-30 Hours/Week – various opportunities exist
Responsibilities Front of House:
● Operating the bar and Beverage cart when required
● Learn and understand our point of sale system
● Assisting in the execution of events
● Ensure retail financial obligations are fulfilled – count sheets, floats, stocking, etc
● Engage in table service within the clubhouse
● Engage in friendly interactions with superior customer service
● Communicate effectively with other Team Members to ensure efficiency and that everyone is set up for success
● Potential for an individual to assist with scheduling and some supervision duties
● Assist other departments within the club when necessary
● General cleaning and organizational tasks
Responsibilities Back of House:
· Aid the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations to ensure daily expectations are met
· Learn or further develop culinary art skills
· Assist with ordering and receiving of product
· General cleaning and organizational tasks
