The property consists of a wine bar tasting area, an outdoor bistro restaurant, farmhouse bakery and an art gallery.

Position: Food & Wine Server

The Food & Wine Server position is responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience at the Vineyard Kitchen & Bistro.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide menu recommendations, take orders accurately, and answer inquiries regarding Food and beverages.
• Ensure timely and efficient service to meet guests' needs.

• Food and Beverage Handling:
• Deliver orders promptly and accurately to tables.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and timely.
• Monitor food quality and address any concerns raised by guests.

• Table Maintenance:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
• Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.

• Upselling and Revenue Generation:
• Promote menu items and seasonal offerings to increase sales.
• Suggest additional experiences on property to enhance the overall experience.

• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other team members, including kitchen staff, dishwashers, bussers and management, to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist colleagues when needed to ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications:

• Passion for Niagara wine, Food and Wine pairings and willingness to continue to learn.
• Excellent hospitality, sales, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance, approachable and positive demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Smart Serve Certification

Physical requirements

• Continuous standing / walking for all tasks
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20kg

Compensation

• Hourly Wage: $16.55 to $19
