Food Service Supervisor

The Bench is a delightful family-friendly casual dining experience situated within Cardel Rec South on the second floor, conveniently nestled between Arena 3 and 4. With its contemporary design, The Bench presents a diverse array of food and beverage options, perfectly suited for pre or post-lessons, games, or practices.

We are seeking positive and energetic serving supervisors who enjoy interacting with our guests, prides themselves on providing excellent service, and works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of serving staff to achieve exceptional service standards.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills in coordinating daily operations and managing staff schedules.
• Assume bartending duties during shifts, including mixing and serving drinks to guests
• Oversee inventory management of bar supplies and coordinate restocking as needed.
• Ensure that the team consistently delivers outstanding and personalized service to guests.
• Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism, aiming for swift resolution.
• Take responsibility for opening/closing shifts, ensuring all closing duties are completed efficiently and according to established procedures.
• Implement ongoing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the serving team.
• Identify areas for professional development and support staff growth.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and closing shifts.
• Pro Serve certification is mandatory.
• Full-time and part-time positions available.
