WIM is currently looking for a forklift operator for its WIM Châteauguay site. Under the supervision of the team leader, the position holder will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises. He must also provide excellent customer service, including unloading different types of trailers from customers. He must work safely by wearing personal protective equipment and respecting safety instructions. He must use the equipment to store finished goods provide the following below.

• Operate the forklift;
• Provide excellent customer service;
• Sort different types of metals;
• Classify establish the type of material;
• Weighed the material;
• Carry out general maintenance of the premises;
• Maintain property and equipment in good condition;
• Clean your work space at the end of the shift;
• Prepare shipments and receipt of materials;
• Wear personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift (a must);
• Experience in metal recycling (an asset);
• Knowledge of metals (an asset).

Skills sought:

• Ability to work in a dusty environment;
• Ability to work outdoors, rain or shine;

Additional Information

• Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; (Possibility to do from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
• Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours;

WIM est présentement à la recherche d’un cariste pour son site WIM de Châteauguay. Sous la supervision du chef d’équipe, le titulaire du poste sera responsable de l’entretien général des lieux. Il doit également fournir un excellent service à la clientèle, notamment en déchargeant différents types de remorques des clients. Il doit travailler en toute sécurité en portant des équipements de protection individuelle et en respectant les consignes de sécurité. Il doit utiliser l’équipement pour stocker les produits finis, fournir les éléments suivants ci-dessous.

Faire fonctionner le chariot élévateur ;

Fournir un excellent service à la clientèle ;

Trier différents types de métaux ;

Classer, établir le type de matériau ;

Pesé le matériau ;

Effectuer l’entretien général des lieux ;

Maintenir les biens et l’équipement en bon état ;

Nettoyez votre espace de travail à la fin du quart de travail ;

Préparer les expéditions et la réception des matériaux ;

Portez un équipement de protection individuelle.

Qualifications

Expérience de conduite d’un chariot élévateur (un must) ;

Expérience dans le recyclage des métaux (un atout) ;

Connaissance des métaux (un atout).

Compétences recherchées :

Capacité à travailler dans un environnement poussiéreux ;

Capacité à travailler à l’extérieur, qu’il pleuve ou qu’il vente ;

Bonne forme physique ;

Travaillez en toute sécurité ;

Faire preuve de responsabilité et de débrouillardise ;

Capacité à travailler en équipe ;

Du lundi au vendredi de 7 h 30 à 16 h 30 ; (Possibilité de faire de 8h à 16h30)

Heures supplémentaires payées à tarif et demi après 40 heures ;
