Forklift/ JCB Drivers

Duties:

- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, stack, and retrieve materials
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers
- Perform inventory control tasks, such as counting and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Use warehouse management systems to track and locate products within the facility
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals
- Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order fulfillment
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on forklifts

Skills:

- Forklift operation: Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks, order pickers, and standard forklifts.
- Warehouse management system (WMS): Experience using WMS software to track inventory, locate products, and manage warehouse operations.
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required in a warehouse environment.
- Order picking: Experience with order picking processes to accurately fulfill customer orders.
- Basic math skills: Competency in basic math calculations for inventory counting, order verification, and data entry.
- Mechanical knowledge: Understanding of basic mechanical principles to perform routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Warehouse distribution: Knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
