Sunterra Horticulture, a division of the Profile Products family is a Boutique Producer of Premium Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss Products. We focus on what we do best, namely providing our customers with fibrous blonde peat moss that is high in porosity and water holding capacity and low in pH and bulk density.
We are currently looking for energetic individuals to join our team at our location just 6kms west of Norquay, Saskatchewan in the role of Forklift Operator / Shipper.
The Forklift Operator / Shipper will be responsible for handling of finished product during production as well as the loading of product during the shipping process. This is a 40-hour a week position; weekend work may be required. This position is Seasonal typically operating May-November.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with Production Supervision and management to determine priorities and courses of action to improve product quality and employee safety
- Ensure all company procedures are being followed
- Perform daily inspections of forklift
- At all times work in a manner that maintains the safety of themselves and others
- Report any issues on equipment to maintenance department
- Work extra hours as required to keep production running
- Additional duties as required

- Strong work ethic
Education and Experience
- Ability to operate forklift considered an asset (will certify on site)
- Experience in shipping considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
Job requirements:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must have own means of transportation to and from work.
