SalaryWe are looking for an experienced Body Shop Forman to join our team. You will play a crucial role in determining our customers experience, by facilitating the completion of repairs in an incomparable manner. Leveraging your extensive knowledge of the vehicle repair process, you will manage the technical team and coordinate the flow of work within the shop.

Your day-to-day:
· Prepare estimates and work plans
· Plan, direct and control workflow within the shop to ensure repairs are completed on time while maximizing shop efficiency. Ensuring correct parts are ready for installation for each job.
· Reduce comebacks by coaching/aiding technicians to practice exceptional workmanship
- Provide exceptional customer service to our valued clients
- Manage professional relationships with both suppliers and clients
- Provide leadership and support to ensure the team is successful in achieving goals and objectives
- Ensure tools and equipment, including facility, are being serviced and maintained properly
- Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment
What you bring to the table:
- Experience as an Autobody Manager, Production Manager or Estimator
- Must have previous experience being a leader and in building and mentoring a successful team
- Ability to be professional and deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients
- Excellent people management skills such as leadership, employee engagement, team development and supervisory skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage priorities, perform a variety of tasks and meet required deadlines and targets
- Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful
- Results-driven and career focused individual with a strong desire to be successful
- Understanding of Provincial Safety code requirements
- Excellent computer skills.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
