Freezer/Shipping - AFTERNOON

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION

• Starting: $22.95/hour ($21.10/hour base rate + $0.60/hour shift premium + $1.25/hour weekly attendance incentive)
• After 6 months: $25.30/ hour ($23.45/hour base rate + $0.60/hour shift premium + $1.25/hour weekly attendance incentive)

• Monday - Friday 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM

MAIN DUTIES

• Pick orders
• Palletize cases in the Freezer/Shipping and assembly area
• Prepare bills of lading for shipping
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Receive shipments
• Perform and record temperature checks
• Maintain good manufacturing practices as related to hygiene, allergen, handling and temperature control
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse, shipping and receiving practices
• Satisfactory reading, writing and comprehension skills
• Ability to operate forklift or willingness to obtain certification
• Demonstrated understanding of food safety
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position

Exceldor Cooperativein Hanover, Ontario is currently hiring on their production line. Reporting to the Supervisor, the Production worker is responsible for constructing and processing food products. This position involves repetitive work with a need for speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. You will be required to work in different areas of the department performing a variety of production related activities.
