Freight Claims Coordinator

If so, we have the perfect job for you! Join our team as a Freight Claims (Overage, Shortages, and Damages) Coordinator, where you will help navigate our operation and customers towards solutions.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter who shares the company values of teamwork, and customer service, and contributes to a positive working environment. This position deals with high volumes of paperwork, incoming calls, and emails and requires the ability to cope in a busy work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and investigating Freight Claims; shipping issues, damaged freight, etc.
• Reporting claims to customers and tracking on-going claims
• Detailed data entry, filing, and documentation
• Communicating with customers, drivers, night crew, and dispatchers
• Working with all terminals for viable solutions

Qualifications:

• Detail oriented & excellent problem solver
• Organized, with the ability to prioritize
• Customer focused, skilled in conflict resolution; able to manage difficult conversations with a positive attitude
• Quick learner and process oriented
• Proficient on a computer
• Flexible start and end times
• Knowledge of customer base and Freight, Transport, or Wholesale experience, an asset

Compensation:

• $58,000-$61,000/year
