We rescue imperfect and surplus produce to help our customers fight food waste and save money. We partner with farmers and distributors to find perfectly Fresh Produce that is at risk of going to waste. About the role
We are looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented team player to join our warehouse and logistics operations team. You will work alongside our small but mighty team to pack and check orders.
About You
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and can-do mentality that excels at working in both a team and independent setting. Strong attention to detail is a must to succeed in this position. Having an interest in eating healthy and sustainability would make you a perfect fit for the team.
Requirements
- Great communication skills
- Great attention to detail is a must
- Experience in working with produce and fresh foods is an asset
- Able to be physically active for long hours lifting 10 to 30lbs
- Experience in working in logistics / warehouse / packing / fulfillment is an asset
- Must be registered as a domestic student in a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Salary: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
