Form of workA Front Counter Sales Representative is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers, responding to inquiries over the phone and via email, and is sales driven in a fun team environment.
You will provide service quotes, process sales transactions, be a product and services expert and more! You will apply strong communication skills that make customers feel welcome at Kal Tire in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
Your positive mindset, sales & organizational skills, willingness to be cross-trained and customer first approach, will make you stand out and be successful in this role.
Skills & Abilities
- Outstanding customer service skills with a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer service experiences.
- Greet and direct customers with a professional and enthusiastic attitude to achieve positive outcomes.
- Answer incoming calls while handling customers inquiries, concerns, or questions.
- Proven ability in an inside sale and/or Counter Sales environment; can provide product knowledge information to customers in a confident and friendly manner.
- Ability to provide detailed pricing terms and prepare and present customer quotations.
- Efficient and detail orientated data entry skills are required to enter appointments and orders into POS/internal systems.
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles.
- Effective problem solving, planning, and organizing skills.
Qualifications and Special Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ year experience in customer service, counter or inside sales role.
- Demonstrate understanding of the automotive or related industry, and aptitude for learning product knowledge.
- A Valid driver’s license.
- Strong personal commitment to health and safety
