Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front Desk Administrator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and possess strong attention to detail.
Duties
- Greet and welcome all people with a positive, helpful attitude and professional manner
- Create, maintain and adjust clients’ appointments in staff schedules as required
- Answer, screen, and transfer multi-line incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Receive and forward messages accurately and completely to staff members
- Perform ad-hoc administrative duties, with specialized attention that the information and communication involved may be sensitive or confidential in nature
- Manage bookings with our scheduling software
- Submitting invoices to third-party insurance companies
Experience
- Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Proficient using computerized systems such as Microsoft 365.
- Strong clerical and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of Front Desk operations in a healtcare office setting is a plus
Hours for this position are during the daytime and range from a minimum of 24 hours per week to 40 hours per week.
